Our vision

With Innoscape, we want to contribute to a broad public discussion about the viability of Switzerland’s innovation landscape.

Our mission

We analyze the economics of innovation in key Swiss industries and share the findings in a user-friendly manner through our web-based reports and the Innoscape Talk series.

Over the last 150 years, Switzerland has become one of the most innovative countries in the world. This is an extraordinary success story.

However, like any other country, the Swiss economy is confronted with tremendous structural changes caused by the digital revolution, artificial intelligence, the green transition or new international collaboration networks. These trends might rapidly change successful business models and reshape existing production patterns.

With Innoscape, we analyze how prepared the Swiss economy is for these transformations.  Additionally, we provide economic insights on how Switzerland can successfully master the challenges of the 21st century and discuss how the country could remain a global innovation leader in the future.

Innoscape is sponsored by the Claudine and Hans-Heiner Zaeslin-Bustany Foundation.

Team

Our team consists of economists dedicated to connecting the worlds of science, industry, public policy and the civil society. We use cutting edge scientific methods to create and analyze big data, providing our stakeholders with new economic insights.
